Arden Multi-Academy Trust (AMAT)

Coppice Academy joined the Arden Multi-Academy Trust as part of the new Primary branch of the trust in September 2023. Previously known as Coppice Junior School, the school adopted its new name—Coppice Academy—at the point of joining AMAT, reflecting its commitment to a broader vision and future growth.

The Governors and Senior Leadership Team saw this as an exciting and strategic opportunity. Joining AMAT offered the chance to strengthen local educational partnerships, work more closely with our neighbouring secondary school, and create new opportunities for our pupils, staff, and the wider community.

After thorough consideration and completion of the full due diligence process, the Governing Body voted unanimously for Coppice Academy to join AMAT in September 2023 as part of the growing primary branch of the trust.
